This trance medium lecture from Andrea is done through a meditation within her own home away from one of my closed development circle's that she attends. They are what you may call as homework. I wish to talk about children and about learning. Children have always been like little sponges soaking up knowledge from all around themselves. Learning with little or no fear, no negativity, with a total sense of discovery. The world is a place to learn, to touch, to feel, to sense and discover things, learn lessons that are not possible to learn fully on the Astral Plane. We learn so many lessons as a child, yet we are blissfully unaware of the negative side of life. Many children accept their learning with a sense of adventure. Every moment of play can be a sense of discovery. A new toy opens up a whole new world to them. If only as adults, you could keep that sense of discovery and adventure in all that you do and all that you learn. It is a magnificent way of living life, trying new things, being open to change. One only has to watch a child’s face when it discovers something new, something interesting – there is no time for the thoughts such as “I’m not sure about this” or “That’s phoney” or “What a con” or some other negative reaction preventing you from stepping forward and finding out what it’s all about. Too many opportunities are missed through people dismissing offers, slipping into thoughts as to why they couldn’t possibly do something or even contemplate doing something new. Do not fear your life! Do not fear your lessons. If your life has become mundane, ask yourself – “What would I like to do if I had only one month left on this Earth Plane?” Make a List! Yes, make a list. It doesn’t matter if you have only a handful of items, or 5 pages of items you want to do/achieve before your time comes. Pick one and DO IT. Get up, organise it. Look forward to it. Plan it. If you can’t afford it, start a savings jar, and start putting money aside, specifically for that purpose. Whatever you can afford even if it is only 50c per week, START it. Think about it, put pictures up on your walls, let it be the last thoughts in your mind before you go to sleep. Imagine yourself doing whatever it is you want to do, imagine what it might feel like when you are successful and achieve what it is you want. I loved skydiving but I could never afford it. I worked towards it, I watched it, I imagined it, I saved up and worked hard. Everyone laughed, but I didn’t care. I achieved my dream while others went about their lives – same thing, different day, laughing bitterly at people like me who saw a dream turn into reality. NEVER give up. Life is an adventure, live it, don’t make it a mere existence! There is so much out there to be seen, felt, experienced. Locking yourself away or just accepting the way things are will get you nowhere fast. Your disappointments will turn to anger, anger to bitterness and bitterness to jealousy. Yes, lessons in themselves, but make sure your lives are balanced. Don’t become complacent and do the same thing every day. Walk a different route, drive a different route. Shop in a different place. Comb your hair differently! Wear those pants you’ve been saving for a special occasion. Do it with a sense of adventure! Enjoy yourself, don’t take life too seriously, laugh more, smile at people – especially those who may laugh at your endeavours. Those who don’t smile back are those who are negative and stuck with their lives. You never know, they may even wake up one day and decide to change things in their lives, because they saw you and all that you achieved despite their negativity. Watch children play, see their freedom. You are all capable of that freedom, mental and physical. Go through your list item by item. See how much your life will change for the better. Thank you, David. |
