Mini lecture # 21

Greetings My Friends,

It has been asked "How can there be a spirit for each person alive today when there are many more people alive than in past times?"

Spirit is not limited - there are many more spirits in the Universe than there ever will be on all the planets of the Universe. Many choose not to have a physical existence for many millennia - so there are always plenty in reserve.

Each spirit is also capable of splitting itself into different "ASPECTS" of itself - so that it can have an existence in many times and places - at the same time. This is difficult to explain - but the well known explanation used by St Patrick is useful here. He explained that the God-spirit was made up of three separate identities - but were also one. He used the Irish Shamrock to illustrate this. The Shamrock has three separate leaves - but is the one plant.

You are capable of splitting your spirit-self from your physical-self when you sleep or meditate. This is a simple and natural part of your life experience. It is not something to fear or repress. It is an opportunity to learn and rest in the Spirit world - whilst your physical body rests in its world.

Spirit is simple and wonderous in its marvelous and unlimited abilities. Each spirit is seeking to join with all the others as part of the Spirit world. As one entity, they have access to all knowledge and wisdom. If you imagine a puff-ball in the wind. Individual seeds leave the large seed ball - and live a life of there own. But when they die and finish their physical existence, they return to the energy from which the original puff-ball came. They are one once more.

Seek wisdom and understanding through experience in your physical world AND in your spiritual world. The two are as one - just different aspects of the same.

Mini lecture # 22

Greetings My Friends,

Evil exists as dark exists. It is the opposite of good. Both good and bad exist in the Universe and are in constant conflict. At times it may appear that evil is winning - but this is not true. Good which comes from love is always superior - and will win over evil.

Good and bad are both necessary - so that lessons can be learned. If everything was pleasant and good, you would take everything for granted and learn nothing. Without struggle, there is no achievement. Without achievement, there is no pleasure. Without experience of both hurt and pleasure, you would have no way of judging your success.

This does not mean that evil should be ignored or even welcomed. Evil is destructive and hurtful to Spirit. It exists and it must be fought. You should not seek out evil - but when confronted with it, you must resist. Call upon the goodness of the Universe - and you will be assisted and protected. Evil cannot overcome good.

Love is the greatest form of goodness. It overcomes all evil. If you join together in seeking goodness, you can overcome any evil. Those who seek power through evil means will learn of their mistakes and be brought to the Light. Those who confront evil in its many forms have an opportunity to learn and to rise higher by fighting it.

Peace and love are one side of a coin. Hatred and fear are the other side. Which side you choose to follow is your choice - but be aware that you must learn wisdom in order to achieve what your soul and spirit desires. This is better learnt through good works than through evil and selfish deeds.

If you choose to look too closely at evil and become part of it, you will attract more evil. Your life will become blighted as a rotten fruit. It will exist, but it will not produce anything beautiful or good. Likewise, if you choose to seek goodness and love, good things will be attracted to you. Evil cannot survive for long in the presence of good. It weakens and shuffles away into the darkness like some wounded and incomplete being - which it is.

Seek the Light at all times - and you will be safe and happy.

Greetings My Friends,

Beauty is of your spirit - it is what you truly are. Beauty is of the world of Spirit - and you are part of the Spirit world. It is your true home - the home which you are seeking.

Every spirit is seeking its true home. No matter how you live your present physical life - you will reach your spiritual home. Even those who appear not to be at all spiritual are spiritual beings. They cannot help but reach out to Spirit.

Spirit understands the weaknesses and temptations which you all face in the physical world - but we are here to help you at all times. Ask, and we will draw close to assist and guide you in your times of doubt and fear.

Fear not that you are lost or alone. No-one is ever lost or alone. Their spirit is close to us at all times - no matter how fearful or lonely. Spirit is everywhere and in every time. It is your true being. You can no sooner not be a spiritual being than a rock can fly. Your true nature is to be a spiritual being for eternity.

Life in spirit is your natural state. The physical world is but an interlude where you possess a physical body in order to learn physical lessons. Each being must learn all types of lessons - some of which are best learnt in the physical existence. Seek what is true and you will receive love and joy and wisdom.

Greetings my Friends,

Join together to send positive energy to those who are sick and suffering. Your wishes for their wellbeing have power which is unlimited. For those who are sick in body - send healing. For those who are sick in spirit - send encouragement.

Each of you is responsible for your own wellbeing and spiritual progress - but you also have a responsibility toward your fellow travelers, both in the human and animal worlds. If you see hurt, it is incumbent upon you to help. Even if you are unsure of your ability to help, the thought is of comfort and practical help to the one needing support.

Bodily illness is a natural event for a physical body, but you should care for your body as it is your vehicle for learning lessons in the physical realm. When your body becomes weakened, it is often because you have not cared for it as well as you might. You should be careful to understand your physical needs - just as you seek to understand your spiritual needs.

When your physical body is nearing the end of its time, the spiritual body becomes gradually more important and takes more control of your thoughts and desires. The spiritual body prepares to leave the physical body and return to a spiritual existence in a non-physical realm.

As the spirit separates from the physical body, it feels no regrets. It is free and often there is joy at being able to return to a spiritual realm and form of existence. There will be other spirits waiting to help the newly free spirit - particularly if the physical body was suffering before the separation.

Recuperation is followed by reconciliation - examining the lessons learnt - and preparing for whatever tasks are ahead. The newly free spirit may choose to return to a physical existence quite soon - or it may spend time learning and guiding others. In the meantime, the physical body returns to whence it came and is forgotten.

Do not cry for your loved ones to return after they leave their physical body - for they are free - and they are with you to help and guide you whenever you need their help. Help and healing are needed in both the physical and spiritual worlds. Your efforts at healing are always appreciated - and are a form of pure love.

Greetings my Friends,

Your world is one of many wonders. You should seek to see and understand them whilst you are in the physical world. Much can be learned by observing the natural physical world. The spirit of natural things is everywhere and has many lessons for you to learn.

Just as you are a spirit - so are other creatures in your physical world. Even things you do not normally think of as living have a spiritual existence. Everything is part of the greater whole - and without any one part, the rest is incomplete.

Your spiritual life follows many paths - exploring and experiencing all that is of existence. This is as it should be - seeking and learning is your purpose for being. If you seek and learn with love for all things, your journey will be smoother and quicker. If you reject certain truths and cause damage to the world around you, your journey will be longer and more difficult.

Life may appear to hold little purpose at times - but this is not so. Every moment is valuable and should be treasured for what it offers. Silence, solitude and thoughtfulness are gifts to be used - just as much as are companionship, friends, and doing. Be all things to yourself and you will blossom in Spirit.

Greetings my Friends,

Easter is a time for celebration and contemplation. It is a time for families to join together in love and friendship. The celebrations should not just revolve around church or eggs or rabbits. These are ideas which man has imposed upon the original idea behind Easter.

Renewal and life are the foundation ideas behind the original Easter celebrations. Easter was always celebrated when life was renewing itself after a long cold winter. This is the way a spiritual Easter should still be celebrated. The renewal of life and understanding of spiritual love.

The spirit known as Jesus understood that love was the paramount force in the Universe. His life was an example to others of forgiveness and acceptance of others - no matter how much you would like to punish or hate those who have hurt you. He warned that it was necessary to love others as yourself - because you are all as one - connected to Spirit.

Seek to improve your world. Send thoughts of love and peace. This is the true celebration of love, life and Spirit.

Greetings my Friends,

Joy to you who are faithful seekers of wisdom! Your life in your present existence is there for you to obtain wisdom. Not wisdom of the Ages or the Universe - but wisdom of physical life. Without such wisdom, your soul journey will be incomplete.

Do not seek to hurry your lessons or cut them short. Each tiny step leads you ever onwards and upwards toward the Light - your true home. Seek to understand all that is about you. Learn to open your heart and mind to new things which confront you. Never judge without learning all there is to know first. Learn to walk in the steps of others before you condemn.

Love is everywhere. It is for every soul. It is not only for the good. it is for all those who are struggling and fighting - and perhaps appear to be slipping backwards. No soul is ever lost. All will achieve their goal. Some choose to take a difficult route - and learn much through their difficulties. Those who take an easier route are no more or no less worthy.

Do not allow yourself to believe you are superior to others. You are as you are intended to be at this time. There will be many others in the same position as yourself. Seek those who can help you in your journey - and seek to help others on their journey.

The journey of each soul is a wonderous and magnificent achievement. Seek your own wisdom - and help others to gain theirs. Together you will triumph.

Greetings my Friends,

"Time is of the essence" - is a saying which has some truth in your world, but on a spiritual world, it has little meaning.

The threads of time are interwoven like a complicated tapestry - where strands overlap and lie side-by-side. Each effects the others in ways which are unknown. If even one thread or meeting was missing, the whole would be faulty and incomplete.

Spirit consists of many souls meeting, joining, passing, and entwining to achieve a spiritual oneness. Each tiny thread helps create the overall picture.

The entire picture and meaning of Spirit cannot be seen by any one spirit. It can only be seen by the Great Spirit who knows all and sees all. We are part of this picture - a vital part to its happy completion.

Do not think that what you provide is of little or no importance. Every meeting is important and impinges on others - and the whole. No spirit is unimportant.

Seek to learn all you can from the experiences and insights you achieve and learn to help others along the way. Together you create a strong and beautiful whole. A picture of great beauty and strength.

For those of you who think that your thoughts and actions are unimportant - think on this - one fault, one missing thread, creates a weakness which need not be there. For each weakness, there must be extra effort on those around. Be not the one who requires others to work harder to repair your poor workmanship.

Together all spirit is all powerful...

Greetings my Friends,

"Seek and ye shall receive". That is very true in the search for spiritual understanding. If you choose not to seek - you will learn - but it will take much longer. If you actively seek to understand the spiritual world - your learning will be much faster.

There is no correct way to seek answers. The only thing which is needed is the DESIRE. If you ask to learn and open yourself to learn - you will receive lessons which will answer your questions.

You may not think immediately that your question has been answered - but at some future time you will look back and understand the lesson that was given to you.

Those who do not question and explore will learn much more slowly - but they too will enjoy the benefits of spiritual guidance. Each soul learns in their own time and in their own way. Do not feel that you are superior because you are putting more time or effort into learning - for the other person may be learning other important lessons of which you are totally unaware.

A good teacher is one who poses a question and allows or encourages the student to explore and find the answers for themselves. Much more is learnt through experience than by being told that which is right or wrong. Parents should keep this in mind. Allow your children to explore - within safe guidelines and limits.

A bad teacher is one who says "I have the answers - my way is the only correct way". If you meet such a person - send a prayer for them to receive help on their journey as you pass them by. This is not to say that they have no lessons to offer - it simply means that what they have to offer is limited.

Be open to all knowledge...

Greetings my Friends,

Tonight I bring to you a question for you to sleep on. What would you regret if you were not to wake tomorrow?

Have you ever thought upon this question? If you have, you will know that it is a question which can focus you upon what is most important in your life. If you allow your true inner being to answer, you may be surprised at the answer you get. Your inner self knows what is most important in this present life existence.

It may be that you wish to mend broken bridges, repair broken dreams, help another to rise above their tribulations, or perhaps it is simply to be as one with the Universe. There are as many important unfulfilled tasks or wishes as there are souls upon your Earth - for each of you is there with the intention of fulfilling some wish or task.

Reach into yourself and you will find the answer. Reach into yourself and you will find the strength and the means. Spirit is with you always - and you are one with Spirit.

Sleep upon this question and wake with renewed energy and clarity.
