Mini lecture # 41

Greetings my Friends.

The future is not for you to see - as it is the present which should concern you. Although you might seek to know your future - all you can glimpse is your possible future.

As you make choices in life, you change your future. Knowing what is right or wrong for you in the present is a more important question. It is one you should consider carefully. For the outcomes from your choices have many consequences.

You should not fear the future - or that you have made wrong choices. If you make the best choice you can with the information you have - and with the correct motives - you will not be wrong. You may find that the result is not what you wished, but the choice was made. Now it is time to learn from the mistake - and move on to the next lesson.

Lessons come from both good and bad things you experience in life. It is important that you realise this, and seek to look beyond the obvious and see the wider picture. Even small choices or events have wide-reaching effects which you cannot predict because you cannot see the full picture.

This is not to say that there is no possibility of glimpsing a small part of your potential future - if you stay on the same path. If you are fortunate to see a glimpse of your possible future, you should be aware that even knowing this possibility gives you the chance of changing what is foreseen.

Each person or being has a free will to choose what they do and what they do with the knowledge they acquire. You must not blame others for your faults and failings. You must learn from them and change you decisions. Decisions you make are your responsibility - and you must own them.

Seek lessons and the wisdom to learn from them as you go forward.

Greetings my Friends,

Tonight I greet you with a concerned heart. Concern that you are not considering your thoughts and actions enough.

Thoughts are living things. They have power to change the world around you. Thoughts travel across the universe in the blink of an eye. They have consequences - just as actions do.

Your thoughts and actions should be as pure as possible. By pure, I mean they should be well considered and free of all malice. If you can achieve this, your thoughts and actions will have positive results.

Positive thoughts and actions are wonderful gifts which you can give to those around you. Send your loving and positive thoughts to those who are suffering or those who are confused. It matters not that they are far away. Your thoughts will reach their destination and will have positive effects.

The most positive thing you can achieve is sending thoughts of love. Actions too, if they are motivated by love, are able to change the world. Changing the world with love is the aim of all Spirit.

Greetings My Friends,

What we see around us is but a shadow of what the Spirit world sees and knows. There are many stages in spiritual understanding and development. Each spirit sees and understands the world around him with the abilities he possesses.

Your world is as much a spiritual world as that in which I exist. There are many different spiritual worlds - which are sometimes called realms or planes. Each has its own attributes and understanding. Each has its uses and responsibilities.

You should not think of these realms as different levels - as they are intermingled to quite a large degree. It is possible for a being on one level to be very aware of the levels nearby. So you will see that the word "level" is misleading.

As you progress in your understanding, you will become more aware of other spiritual realms or worlds which intermingle and often affect those around you. You should seek to understand and honour those who are perhaps different in their perception and understanding. Love is universal and all powerful.

Greetings My Friends,

What is Life? Life in your world usually means the continuance of the physical body. When its functions cease, life is said to be ended.

Life in a spiritual sense, never ends. It is continuous and ever-lasting. The ceasing of the physical body's functions releases the spirit so that it feels more alive. This is the paradox of life and death. In death their is release to a greater life.

You should not fear death. It is as if you were stepping from behind a curtain onto a brightly lit stage. The stage is your next existence as a spiritual being. Your physical body is left behind as its purpose has been fulfilled. There are no regrets at leaving the body behind - though there may be regrets that the possibilities and opportunities it provided were possibly not used to their greatest.

The approach to death may be sudden or gradual. If it is gradual, the spirit within the cocoon of the body becomes more aware of the spiritual world, and less aware of the physical world. This is a natural process and it should not be feared.

When a spirit leaves its physical body, it is like a newly hatched butterfly. It must rest and spread its wings before it explores new wonders. It doesn't look back at the discarded body - it looks forward to new adventures and new lessons in its new form.

When your time approaches to leave your physical body, there will be spirits waiting for you. There will be rejoicing. There will be happiness and joy. Your friends and guides will be waiting to help you to adjust. You will not be alone even for a moment. The curtain will part and you will be in the warmth of love.

Greetings my Friends,

Today is the most important day of your life.

Yesterday was also the most important day - and so will tomorrow be.

This may sound confusing, but it is true in every life. The day you are living and experiencing is the most important for you at that particular time. Each moment is vital to your growth and understanding. Each thought, each experience, each decision is yet another step in your development toward a greater understanding and wisdom.

Do not waste your opportunities. Do not dwell too long on your failings and disappointments. Seek to learn from them, but move on with the resolve to not repeat them again.

If you can lift yourself out of your depressions and look at the lessons which can be gained, you will go on with joyous anticipation. You will know that that is one less lesson to learn and that you are climbing toward your goal.

Greetings my Friends,

Should you wish to know more about the world of Spirit? This is a question often asked. Some would say that delving into such spheres is unwise - that there is danger in doing so.

It is true that foolish people may become involved in things they do not understand - they have troubles because they approach the matter in a foolish and foolhardy manner. Spirit is powerful and there are both good and dark aspects to be aware of. Learning of Spirit should be a joyous and pleasant experience. It should uplift your spirit to greater heights of understanding and love.

Those who would dabble or play with the dark side may find that their experiences are anything but joyous or uplifting. It is therefore important that your motives and attitude is of the highest when you open yourself to such experiences. Avoid those who do not understand the importance of true and honest spiritual experience. Learn to protect yourself by calling on the Light and not darkness. The realms of darkness do exist and should be avoided.

You should seek out those who understand and can guide you on the correct path. You should learn to crawl before you walk. Do not seek to experience things which are beyond your present understanding. Learn by watching and listening. And then decide what is correct by using your inner wisdom.

You are ready to learn - and the learning must be wisely thought out and proceeded upon. Ask for guidance and support from your Guardian Spirits and it will be there for you at all times.

Seek and learn - that is the work of Spirit.

Greetings My Friends,

Today, I say to you, your world lives by the way it thinks and behaves. If you think in negative ways, your lives will become as negative as your thoughts. If you think positively, your lives will become more positive.

Many of you have wondered about the many thousands of souls who left your plane due to the great waves which spread across your world. These are not new - they have occurred before - and are part of living in a physical world. They offer opportunities for learning on a greater scale than at other times. You cannot ignore the hurt and pain and losses when so many are affected. You should also remember this in the future - that every moment is valuable - as you know not when your time has come.

The many souls who departed your world have made their journey to the next life as was planned by them. They did not remember this choice - but they made it nevertheless - to experience this event. To those who help the survivors - with prayers or physical support - they too learn lessons in being aware of the needs of others. Their compassion tells well of their spiritual awareness - that all souls are linked as one in the Universe. What hurts one hurts all. What lifts up one, lifts up all.

Seek to understand these natural events. They are not punishments - as some would say. You should not become depressed or angry. You should accept that your physical lives will have a physical end - and in the meantime, you should use the opportunities you are presented with, in a positive way - to improve your understanding and wisdom.

Look forward and have a light step. What is meant for you will come in due time. You will not be dissapointed.

Greetings My Friends,

Time passes by so quickly it is barely the blink of an eye - and yet, time is unimportant to the Universe. Time is but one measure of the power of Spirit and the Life Force.

Seek always to live in the moment - and make the most of it. Be conscious of your thoughts and actions. Every thought, every deed has a life and power of its own. There are consequences for every thought and deed.

When you achieve some measure of understanding, a small light is lit in your consciousness. When you achieve some good deed, your light shines brighter. The brighter your consciousness, the more will be illuminated - and the better you will see. This illumination grows more rapidly as your understanding develops. It is like the coalescing of many lights - together they bring light and understanding to the darkest corners.

Achieving spiritual unfoldment is the most beautiful thing to behold. A newly born spirit is like a new born babe - full of potential and curiosity. What could be more pleasing?

Seek to be as a new-born babe. Be open to learn from every source. Do not reject any lesson because it flies in the face of what you have previously held as "truth". Be open and quiet. Listen, touch, and see - many wonders await you.

Greetings my Friends,

Today is a time for you to work on the development of your inner spiritual being - the self which is truly you - and one with Spirit.

Seek to listen to the small inner voice which is within each of you. Learn to dull the outer world and its annoyances. Allow your inner world to come forward.

Relax your physical body and learn to be at peace with yourself. Imagine that you are weightless - that nothing in the physical world can disturb your tranquility. When you achieve this peaceful state, you will become more aware of everything around you - both in the physical world - and in the spiritual world.

It is at times such as these that you can ask your inner self for the answers to questions - and you will get a true response. Remember - your true self is part of the universe and the universe is all-knowing and all-powerful.

You will find, my friends, that it is not so difficult to obtain wise answers - if you will only ask your inner self. This will make your life in this world so much simpler - and the life of the next world so much easier to understand. Seek for the truth and it will be there.

Greetings my Friends,

I find myself considering the wonders of creation - how perfect, how balanced, how sensible. The beauty of Nature and all that is known to mankind and Spirit is the most wondrous thing - which we should all contemplate each and every day.

The workings of Nature are sometimes cruel, but there is a logic and sense of mystery in all of these actions. No blame can be put on any creature which is carrying out its natural destiny. The carnivore must eat - just as the slug must destroy the beauty of a flower to survive. The drive to survive - to live one moment longer in the physical world is a necessary means of continuing the physical species.

When a Spirit becomes aware, it has choices about its behavior. It becomes responsible for its decisions. Man is at this point. Each and every one of you should understand and respect the workings of Nature - but also consider the effects you have on others by your decisions.

The smallest decision does have consequences - for the world around you - and for your eternal Spirit. Each choice you make is an opportunity to learn and to raise yourself in your degree of spiritual awareness.

True spiritual awareness accepts what is true and real. It examines and learns - without rancour or fear. To reach this point in your development, you must be diligent and aware. Laziness in your present spiritual life will delay your eventual understanding of all Spiritual questions. Be aware, question yourself and others, and consider the effects of your life-choices.

Life is a wonderful gift which you have been given - do not waste it.

Greetings my Friends,

It is with pleasure that I speak to you again. Your progress in learning is pleasing to behold.

I and my companions in Spirit wish you all well - and encourage you to proceed along the path to true spiritual awareness and understanding. Developing your natural abilities and understanding of the Universe around you is the most important and interesting task you can set for yourselves.

True understanding will only come after much effort on your part. The understanding and wisdom you seek is not given to anyone - it must be sought out, tested, and assimilated into your whole being. Without this true and all-pervading understanding, you will never truly live and understand life.

Should you stray from the path toward understanding, it will be but a brief stumble. Your inner spirit knows and desires to learn and achieve its true destiny. You are responsible for your own progress - but there are many who will help you - if you request such help. It is not always the person who says they have answers, who is the one who can teach you the most. The humble and self-effacing often possess deeper truths and will tell you of them only if you seek them out.

Remember that all of you have the same potential for greatness in Spirit. There are no kings or stars in Spirit. All are as ONE. What one knows, all will know - if they seek to know that truth. Experience is often the best teacher - not the teachings of someone who says they will educate you in THE way. There are as many ways to the truth as there are stars in the sky. You must find your own way.

Remember - the key is Love - for yourself and for all other forms of creation.
