First let us look at the proper meaning of the word called clairvoyance. This marvelous word means that the person who has acquired this gift from spirit, is in close contact with spirit and spirit allows that person to be able to see what spirit creates and this is done through the minds eye. In other words the person who has acquired the clairvoyant gift from the spirit world is using more of the human brain than most people. To put this in a better way, the average person only ever uses one eighth of their brain.

The person who has the clairvoyant gift is the person who implicitly trusts the word of spirit. This person would not use any physical aids at all. Such as cards crystal ball, runes or whatever. The true clairvoyant does not use any physical aids at all. The true clairvoyant trusts implicitly in the words and pictures that come from spirit, the world of spirit. The Astral Plane.

Can you imagine if you were capable of using and controlling the whole of your brain. You would become someone who is spectacular, invincible, who knows. But it is a proven fact that the average person only uses one eighth of their brain. But if you start to work with the spirit side of life, working with spirit from the astral plane, it is then that you start to open up the rest of your brain that would normally be dormant all your life.

But clairvoyance, if taken in its true and proper way, if it is taken by the person to whom spirit has given it too. Then clairvoyance becomes an immense responsibility to that person and this responsibility cannot be taken in a frivolous way. That person then has a terrible responsibility. That responsibility is being able to give the proper meaning of the message from the astral plane to the person to whom the message is being given to. Whether the message is good or bad, it makes no difference. The message must be given in the way that spirit on the astral plane has given it.

Now to take this one step further. No true clairvoyant will ever predict a death of a person. No human being is capable of doing that. The only person who knows when death is imminent is the person, in other words the spirit of that person who is about to die. Warnings can be given about a death so that the living person can do something about it, but only if, the death can be averted. But when it is a persons time to leave this earth plane, then the only one that knows, is the person or, the spirit of that person and nobody else. Not even the Guardian spirit of that person knows. Only the spirit of that person knows and that person is spirit anyway.

Now, can anybody become a clairvoyant. Of course they can. With a little bit of effort and of course some training and a belief in spirit, spirit on the astral plane.

But, let us look at this in a slightly different way. Every person that is born on this earth plane has the gifts of spirit. You are all born with these gifts. Everyone has the gift of healing and the gift of clairvoyance and the like, you are born with them, they are your inheritance, so to speak from the astral plane.

Now, you can squander your inheritance, as most people do. or you can encourage it as few people do. You all have these gifts, they are always there, but they are sitting dormant in the part of the brain that you do not want to use.

Now you are saying, but I would like to open up that side of my life, but how do I do it. The first thing that you must do is to find a closed development circle. Now these circles are normally run by a spiritualist organization. To find one, you may have to look in your telephone book, under spiritualist church or organization. In Australia, there are two organizations, one is called the International Council of Spiritualist’s and another is called The Spiritualist Union of Victoria. These organizations have the address of the churches and centers around Australia. In and around the world you will find in the local paper, advertisements of these churches and centers. In England for instance there is the newspaper called Psychic News. So, there is a starting place for you

When you have found one then apply to join one of their closed development circles. Now a closed development circle, is a circle that is protected. In other words the teacher of the class, through the teaching spirit guide places a protective shell completely over the class, so that un-wanted spirits cannot enter the class and cause disruption within the class.

Normally a person would attend the class for between one hour and a half to two hours once a week. This would go on for about eighteen months to two years, depending on the person. In that time the person is taught how to open up to spirit so that the gifts of clairvoyance (to see), clairaudience (to hear) clairsentience (to smell) and also to become a spirit healer or faith healer if you like, their both the same but with different titles.

After that period of eighteen months to two years is finished, you will have the knowledge to be able to work as a clairvoyant and also a healer. But and I must emphasize the word, but. You are now capable of being clairvoyant, clairsentient, clairaudient and also a healer. You have done your apprentiship, your studies and your training. Now comes the hard part. You now have to implicitly trust the word of spirit and at first your attitude is this. Is it me talking or is it spirit. This answer to this only comes from your trust in spirit, your absolute trust in spirit and of course practice.

Now you may ask, how long does this take. Well, that depends on the person. In some it can take years, others maybe just months. It all depends on the determination of the person. If the attitude of the person is that they really want to help others, then that person is already halfway there. That person has to implicitly trust the word of spirit, which for the novice is called a thought. In other words a thought has entered the mind. It is like anything else, practice makes perfect. If the person does not practice the art then the art is not useful to anyone.

I would like to make one more point on this before closing this lecture. Because I am a teacher of spirit development, I always encourage a question time at every class. This is because, with every question that is asked then the person learns a lot quicker and easier. I, as a teacher, I know by name, my Guardian Spirit, my Healing spirit guides and also my Clairvoyant guides. All teachers of spirit development classes should know the names of their spirit guides and spirit teachers and they must encourage a question time, every time the class is in session.
